At Green Valley Country Club, membership has its privileges. We believe that great people, great service and great value equal extraordinary results. In 1926, GVCC was founded by Pomeroy Department Store employees. They purchased nearly 100 acres of lush rolling hills in Lower Heidelberg Township, PA.

Today, GVCC is the finest private swimming and dining club in Berks County, PA. Membership includes access to two swimming pools as well as a toddler’s splashing pool with pool-side service, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, shuffleboard, tether ball, box hockey, a championship swim and diving team, and a shaded walking path. We also have both casual and fine dining, a Member’s Pub, an Outdoor Cabana Bar, snack bar, an outdoor pavilion, picnic grove and several outdoor grills. GVCC also hosts a number of exciting family friendly activities throughout the year including a Children’s Christmas Party, Easter Egg Hunts, clam bakes, and outdoor Caribbean nights. In addition, GVCC hosts other events such as prom & bridal fairs and wine festivals throughout the year. With special themed nights such as “80’s Night,” and weekly dining specials, there is always something exciting happening at GVCC.
